American Legion Post 239 Celebrates Mary Ann Devine

It was a special meeting for American Legion Post 239 as they invited Mary Ann Devine to their Meeting, in order celebrate her retirement from teaching and Show Gratitude for the many years of her involvement with Honor Flight and her Appreciation for Veterans overall. One of the best things about her appreciation for Veterans, which had her doing Honor Flight after Honor Flight, is that she instilled that appreciation in her students. Grooming our Future Community Leaders.

Everyone that has gone to Honor Flight was told to wear their Honor Flight shirt if they still had it. It made for a really cool group photo before taking a break from the meeting to have refreshments.

When the meeting resumed, Commander Bill Archer and Sr Vice Commander Ray Lambert presented Past Post Commander Dennis DeSalvo a plaque from National and a 50yr pin, for having 50 Continuous Years in the American Legion.
