About the NJVAA

The American Legion Department of New Jersey wanted to be able to better obtain donors that would otherwise be restricted based on IRS or corporate policies. This led to the formation of The New Jersey Veterans Assistance Association as a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Through the NJVAA we are able to better raise funds to serve our communities more impactfully.

Are you a Federal employee or retiree? Then GIVE HAPPY to us through the CFC using the NJVAA's charity code 53071. One of the great benefits of the CFC is that you can give though payroll deduction or through your retiree annuity, giving a little each pay period and supporting our mission all year long.

Each fall, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) enables Federal employees and retirees to come together to raise money and volunteer for our favorite charities. Thanks to your generosity, the CFC has raised $8.7 billion since its inception to support people and communities in need across the country and around the world!
