Join Us for GivingTuesday – the Global Day of Giving on Nov 28, 2023

What are you doing on Tuesday, November 28? That day is GivingTuesday—a global day of giving where people all over the world come together to support their favorite nonprofits.

This year, The American Legion Department of New Jersey is participating in GivingTuesday! Our goal is to raise $40,000 that will improve the quality of life for Veterans, by: providing a service dog to a Veteran in need; helping with affordable housing for homeless Veterans; and helping to prevent Veteran Suicides —but we’ll only reach that goal through the kindness and generosity of people like you. Will you help?

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Add GivingTuesday to your calendar!

• Donate to The American Legion Department of New Jersey. Your kindness and generosity will help improve the quality of life for Veterans.

• Follow us on Facebook @LegionDeptNJ! We’ll share updates and stories throughout the day about how much you and others in our community are making a difference.

• Spread the word by telling your friends, family, and coworkers why you’re passionate about what The American Legion Department of New Jersey does. Then, invite them to join you in making a difference.

We’re only able to improve the quality of life for Veterans, by: providing a service dog to a Veteran in need; helping with affordable housing for homeless Veterans; and helping to prevent Veteran Suicides because of supporters like you. We hope you’ll join us on GivingTuesday!
